Cycling Trip in France SEPTEMBER 2012
The FRANCE A VELO tour is now organised and will depart 31 August and return 23 September 2012. This cycling tour of France begins in Paris and then moves to the beautiful Loire, cycling along the many canals of the Burgandy region, starting in Blois and with the finishing line in Avallon. First Film Night at ANITA'S
Our first film night for 2012 on 17 February at ANITA'S at Thirroul, " Au Sixième Etage" Click for more, was a great success with French cocktails a plenty and many laughs with the entertaining Spanish maids, who live on the 6th floor of a French middle class appartment block. The wonderful old theatre ambience totally envelops you soon as you enter this glorious surround of mirrors, chandeliers and magnificent Italian tiles and provides a delightful evening's entertainment that is not to be missed not just for French speakers but for any film buff.
Keep an eye on this space for our next film night ( Date TBA) . Tickets are $20 and will include the complimentary French cocktail.
